the Flood: A Short Bio

Nathan Harris & the Flood is a collective of many of Charlotte’s finest musicians, that bring together influence from a myriad of genres and musical backgrounds. The band started as a backing band for Harris, and his more “singer-songwriter” material, during the recording of his debut EP “Moving On.” Soon after the release of the second single off said EP in September of 2024, the band solidified into a solid 4 piece (dubbed the Core 4), with a rotating group of guests on vocals, horns, strings, and percussion.

The “Core 4” of the band includes- Nathan Harris (songwriter, vocals, guitar), Javier Pizarro (vocals, keys), Sammy David (drums), and Paul Castanet (bass guitar).

Extended Flood family includes- David Gibson (auxiliary percussion), Chris Schiavoni (saxophone), Zach Wheeler (saxohone), Max Gill (trombone), Emanuel Wynter (violin), Garrison Bennett (vocals, bass) and more.

You never know what surprises you will get at a Flood show! The band loves live improvisation and resonating with the audience to leave them with a night they will connect with and remember!
